True, but Johnny Cash came accross as cooler to a wider range of people. Hank may have actually been more influential, but Cash was just cool. And I don't think it was just the black clothes, but I'm sure that helped.

i think i'm pretty cool. in high school i wasn't cool at all.. i was antisocial. but now i think i'm pretty cool. college made me feel like i'm not worthless.

then again, i dunno how to define cool. cool is simply being. if you're uncool, chances are someone thinks you're cool. i think i can define what's not cool a lot easier...
- assholes: not cool.
- stuck-up people: not cool.
- omg-my-shoes-have-to-match-my-purse: not cool.
- bashing people for the way the look: not cool.
- posers: not cool.
- people who are obsessively trying not to be posers: not cool.
- following people around: not cool.
- dr. phil: not cool.
- abuse (substance and/or people): not cool.
- swearing like a ****ing trucker: not cool. (i swear too often.. so not cool.)
