Fermented Honey and Alchohol.

Supposedly it is amazing with Blood, but I dont drink Alchohol, so I wouldn't know.

Every month I get all sorts of invitations to exhibitions, shows and meetings and it is often very hard to decide which to attend. This Friday, for example (the 19th) I am invited to a leaving function for the Geschäftsleiter of the local transport company, an Irish Folk Music Night or a Renaissance Music Night. The last one will have mead as a drink; it always does and there are four such musical evenings a year plus a two day medieval market in September.

On Friday I shall be drinking mead in abundance, Saturday I am not going to be working.

Sweet and Honey, when it's made properly, without being too thick. You can get honey wine over here too, which is like a strong white wine but with a fuller flavour.

You're whetting my appetite now, and there's no way that I get get hold of mead before tomorrow night.

Went to the concert last night and drank more than my fill of hot Met (Mead). Bought a stone bottle of it too, for later. Lovely stuff.

My uncle brews a sweet honeymead that is definitly superior to others, and that's not just a familial predjudice. Pours it in to two liters and brings it up for the brewers festivals. Haven't had any in a while though.
