Never been big on the family guy. I'm more of a King of the Hill kind of guy. That fucking shit is sick. I love it. It's just nifty as hell that everyone is so over-simplified in their world that you just want to vomit---which I'm certain is the point. I'll check out the family guy.

Peggy, but same here. King of the Hill had its share of humorous moments before then, but they kept changing the character of Peggy to be more monstrous and the show just got insufferable after the skydiving thing.

Love, love, love Family Guy though. Can't wait for new episodes in January.

I should think a lot of people do. It's hard to get.. and I think the drooling masses probably just think it's all serious. I think the point of it is probably lost on most people.

I get the show completely, but I hate the characters, setting, theme, and all the other stuff about that show. If I want to deal with something exactly like king of the hill intensified by infinite, all I have to do is go outside.

Yeah, you're probably right. But I still can get down with it. The Simpsons will always be king, but I usually go over to my neighbor's for king of the hill. He is an old metalhead and we get along great. We just sit around listening to Suffocation and watch stupid television programs.

That's funny...King of the Hill lost my interest after the skydiving episode too...though I'd only found it mildly amusing to begin with.

On topic, though, Brian is the main reason I watch Family Guy. I like the show overall, but I like it best when Brian's onscreen.

It's a toss up for me between Brian and Stewie as fas as favourite characters. The rapport they share is priceless.

King of the Hill is good in it's own right and not remotely comparable to Family Guy. Peggy is an insufferable " know-it-all" and the whole show is an over simplified view of the world. But I like to think that that is how the rest of the world operates, with a single mindness to the point of insanity. That any one who lives to be the best Substitute Spanish Teacher ever is disrupted by the idea that some one could ever want to be a prop comic. As far as KoH goes Khan is by far my fave character.
