Taking Mother Goose Rhymes, and putting them to Rock , Metal, or Pop Music?
It seems stupid, but its actually a cool idea.

Yes, it has been done. Some good, some bad.
Know where I can find some good examples?
They have horrible versions on Nickolodeon, etc, but I am seeking cool versions.
Side note: I have Are you sleeping Brother John, put to Smooth Criminal's beat stuck in My mind currently.
That is fucked up.

How did they do Aesop's fables into those? That seems interesting.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *Gets flashbacks of Aesop & Son, and Mr. Peabody!*
There have been a few musical adaptations of Aesop. The Smothers Brother did some back in the 60s. A few adaptations for Broadway and songs for children. Not much by way of "rock" music, altho there was a band called Aesop's Fables in the 60s.

Smothers Brothers! Wasnt that the show with "Sock it to Me."? They also had Nixon there I think!*
yeah, when I was a kid they had this bizare version of it that was like hip-hop urbanized. they did that a lot in the 80's...
thank god for gangsta rap...
187 on a muthafuckin cop!
OG, nigga. I dunno, it all seems pretty silly to me. I question more of the rap lore I hear. I'm sure the reports of killings and church burnings in the norwegian blackmetal scene are pretty over-blown as well. People need to create a feeling of extremeness. It makes things more interesting, but isn't all that veracious.
Uh Korn has done it. I don't particularly like them, but I've heard it. The song is called Shoots and Ladders. I've made some really raunchy versions of nursery rhymes. I'll spare everyone.
^^^what I was about to say...Korn
I always thought that Grimm's neaded a beat.
Andrew Dice Clay tried...hehe
