Although I do find some some body mods/piercings alluring and erotic. I have never been fond much of tongue piercings. A well rounded, full sexy lip....yes.....but not a tongue...it's ok...flog me and skin me alive now...it's just my opinion...so no drive by lashings...ok?

but seriously. the best thing about piercings is, if they prove uncomfortable or difficult, you can remove 'em. i would have thought that by now, tongue piercings would seem a little mundane; every second female porn star has one.

I think interfering with your tongue in such a harsh manner is pretty stupid. It is a very important part of our anatomy and having three metal studs driven through it seems a little pointless to me as well as highly inconvienant. But do what you will; maybe for some people it is worth the trouble.

It could depending on WHY a person got it...for some it may be like adding something to their look like any would do with a new shirt or pair of pants...it's nothing horrid...it's not like they lose their ability to taste or speak correctly.

Well, instead of showing you how close minded and mundane you are, Ill take the bait.

I split my tongue before it became a 'cool' thing to do. Ive had it done for many years, before it was really even heard of. It is not permanant, nor for me was it superficial. It goes much deeper than that, but Ill spare you. I find the human body as a canvas, to do as I please to myself. I like to push the envelope, and will continue to do so, and have many things planned for altering my appearance including subdermal implants and pointing my ears. Its my hobby, and I find more extreme body modifications beautiful.

Now just one last thought. I think its stupid how you judge. Are you sure youre in the right community? Seems to me you have nothing positive to add to this community, so I wouldnt be sad if you decided to take a hike. I surely wouldnt tell you your appearance and choice in clothing/personal decisions are stupid, so howabout learning some respect and doing the same.

No I didnt mean narrow minded. I meant close minded. You seem to not even care to get an honest response and think about it differently than your opinion already is.

I am harldy close minded. I find it in poor taste to come to a community that Forrest and Amelia have built for showing the beauty of the alternative lifestyle, and knocking what many of of are about or find appealing. Feel free to state your opinions, but when you state them as you have, you more than likely will not become all that accepted or welcome. I didnt see any questions, just a comment follwed by a question mark. And I dont need to talk to Forrest or Amelia, all of this is in plain sight of all members to assess themselves. I hardly care to play games such as running and tattling, but I am free to state my opinions of your comments as you are to make the comments. And again, I wouldnt be all that upset if you chose to leave. Maybe have a bit more tact in your responses, but when you call my lifestly 'stupid', I am free to make my own observations about your character, and state them as I will.

I bet a lot of us would say, "That's stupid!". Not many people would say, "Gee, how interesting. I really admire your choice of broomhandle lifestyle!" Some people see really extreme piercings, body mods, etc, as stupid. If all you are looking at, is the aesthetics, or the functionality, you won't get the point. To some people, the total outragiousness of what they do, is part of their personality, and they like to advertise it. Yes, having a huge piece of metal in your mouth might be "stupid" if you want to speak, eat, etc. But if you want to make an impression, and do something wild, then it's not stupid at all. It's just that some people require that everything have a purpose.

I talk people out of body modifications almost every day, only because they think its cool and want it done. The sad part is, if they really wanted for themselves, they would have done it anyways, regardless of my opinion or any others.

Some people need to learn to respect others decisions and not talk down to them like they are some sort of heathens that have mental problems.

like Jax and the rest of blue blood is trying to get through to you is this is our life style an you calling it stupid well you are calling everyone here stupid body modifactaion is a reflection of self and if you would look at some of the pictures that we have posted you would understand we get thing like this done not to be cool but to show how we are our bodys are a canves and if you dont want to paint yours well that up to you but dont come here and think that you have the right to down the life style that we persue....

Nipple piercings are great for both sexes. Noses and lips are cute, too. A little turned off by tongue piercings though. Reminds me of "spring break" sluts. This chick I work with said she "used to have her tongue pierced" - note that she is as lame, useless on the job, and preppy as it gets - my response was, "oh so i take it you used to suck a lot of dick?" of course, if she was smart and a good person in the least, i probly would never say that.

I would get piercings, because I find them a Turnon, but these are the factors why I dont yet. **:

*Money
* Cleaning Them
* Having them ripped out by accident or worse, on purpose.
* Not exactly sure what I want to get pierced yet. *

yeah I had just gaged my ear to a 2 before I got in my car crash and they took it out and I didnt get my gageing talon back so now it only a 7 now..
