*licorice (red and black...but sour licorice is good but i dont consider it licorice)

*anything thats chocolate with mint like junior mints
*whoppers
*those dumb candies that are wrapped to look like strawberries and also come in a bag with other candy in facy wrappers like butterscotch and stuff that taste like poo
*airheads
*blow pops or anything gum related
*chronic candy
*jelly beans
*skittles
*gum drops
*mike and ikes
*taffy

i could go on forever, but i need to go to sleep...i have a very picky taste in candy hehe

I rarely eat candy these days, so many have dead animal products in them where it really isn't necessary - or necessarily healthy - and I can't be bothered to try and find the packet to read the small print.

I was thinking about this recently when I was wandering through my favourite Asian shop, shopping. A while ago there were a few kids who constantly pestered me for sweets, so I bought some of my favourite sweets of the time in an Asian shop and handed them liberally out. I wasn't pestered by any of them ever again, for some reason. If you ever come across Indonesian Ginger Candy, buy it and try it. I saw a pile in this Asian shop and promptly bought a few packets, for the taste as much as for the memories!

My boyfriend broke his kid from candy for about 3 weeks when he bought him some of those Harry Potter every flavored beans. He picked all the flavors out except for the vomit and snot ones and gave it to him. The kid turned green. It was great.

yup I have a soft spot in my heart for candy corn. I think its all in the way they layer the colours as to why it tastes so good!
