I saw the trailer for the film, and it looks REALLY good!! Can't wait to see it!! I have the CD, and I have seen the stage version. It's not Sarah Brightman and what's his name, you know the famous Phantom.... Michael...

But the film looks really great, opulent cinematography... I am sure I will see it a couple of times and buy the DVD.

Any Phantom fans out there?

Saw it at Her Majesty's Theatre last year, had my parents playing the soundtrack (from the actual production, not the new movie) on long journeys occasionally since I was small... It's a great production.

I cant wait to see the movie every stage to screen musical adaption ive seen thus far has worked well and Phantom is my second favorite musical after Rocky Horror and Phantom has much better music

Yes I loved seeing it live onstage, especially when the chandelier comes down and they start playing the theme song. I love that CD.... How are things in Kent? Have you ever been to Marsh Green?

Yes I love the songs. I think this is Andrew Lloyd Weber's best music... Great CD. Fun to sing along to...

Lon Chaney Jr. did a talkie I think it was in the 30's..

Never heard of it before, but I just checked an online map and looking at it, I have probably been through there a couple of times while doing a part time unpaid work experience job (finished 2 weeks ago). I've been in Edenbridge and Marsh Green looks like it's right next to there. I'm usually up Northeast in different parts depending on the day.

Things in Kent? hmm not much going on as far as I know. There usually isn't. I'd prefer to live in London but can't easily unless I drop out of college (nah). It's one of those places that's nice to visit, pretty and such but not very interesting to live in.

Phantom is a great play/story/musical.

I wasn't too thrilled with this one movie they made. It was a fictional story loosely based on the original. I was totally deceived. I'm curious about the new one anything would be an improvement.

No.. unfortunately. I'm still trying to get into post secondary for acting.
Most of my background is in community based theatre.

I saw it!!! I LOVED the actor who plays THE PHANTOM, really handsome, and he sings not quite so flowery, more like a rockstar. I am a big Sarah Brightman fan, so the Christine was OK, no one can compare to the original Sarah Brightman.

I forgot how SAD this story is, I felt so sorry for the Phantom. He is a really good actor, you really feel for him. It is worth seeing just for him, and also it is a BEAUTIFUL film, really opulent. Oh, and I THINK Baby Spice is in it!! I could be wrong!!!!

i saw the movie last night, it was my cousins birthday and she's a die-hard fan of the play, so i took her to see it. i loved the cinematography, the costumes and the settings of the movie... oh yes and i LOVED the music... but the lip singing was aweful and completely off at times, and some parts carried on too slow, but other then that i enjoyed it. i would have enjoyed it more if i wasnt worried that i forgot to lock my car doors...it turns out i didn't forget.
