How do you delete extra Yahoo Accounts?

I was wondering how to Re-activate, and De-activate accounts.

My previous accounts seem to not work, while I cant seem to get rid of the account I made by mistake

Just leave them there and create new accounts not by mistake. Roughly half of yahoo is a mistaken attempt at making an account anyway, or spamtraps.

I must admit that I've never tried to reactivate a used account with yahoo, seems like a pain in the nether regions to me. I don't know how long they keep them for either, before releasing the name once more. Have they no FAQs?

I would assume (he assumes) that you can try and log in, click on lost password and get your access back that way, assuming (he assumed) that you've forgotten the password. If yahoo have deactivated the account for some reason, then it's probably gone west.
