Wahoo!!! So all my devious wheelings and dealings seem to be paying off, at this moment, the president of Salvation Films is having lunch with the Vice President of Image Entertainment to talk about the financing of my film, along with TWO other production companies, one in New Zealand and one in South Africa!!!

I swear, I have been shopping various sordid projects all my life, demo tapes, screenplays, TV shows, and I have NEVER had better response on anything than this screenplay.

I am really encouraged. I give myself little pep talks each morning, to give myself confidence. Oh, and of course, I use my Guerrilla War tactics, devious methods, and well, whatever I can think of!!!!

I am sort of trying to focus on financing before I get any name stars, because it is really bette to have THE MONEY first.... MONEY TALKS..

I love Ridley's films...they are just glorious in terms of a technical and atmospheric level. Solid stories too.

Tony's however are MUCH more personal for me since they pretty chronical my life in terms of what I thought was mindblowingly cool. Top Gun was pretty much THE movie of my childhood in terms of what I thought I guy should be. Same with Days of Thunder, Crimson Tide, etc.

The Fan was one of those films that creeped me out in some a wonderful way I can't help but love that film.

It's just impossible for me to choose a favourite since I love so many of them...True Romance would probably be on top though if I had a gun to my head.

I wonder if they ever got into fight as kids and if so...who won? I've always been curious about their discussions about film...must be quite interesting since they are important commercial and not so commercial artists. Many forget that their styles have pretty much defined the look most films have now in terms of style, atmosphere, and pace.
