So I picked this CD up about a week ago, and I must say its a damn fine CD. It's kinda got an oldschool english metal sound goin' on.
Sounds a bit like Iron Maiden and Judas Preist, with a bit of a more modern approach. They're signed with Roadrunner... which is a bit mainstream... but I'll live.
Anyways... lets get technical.
Vocals. - Great(8/10). The singer tends to go from singing to screaming, a lot. He can also go INCREDIBLY high.
Guitars. - Almost Great(7/10). Nothing too fancy. Rather easy to play. Especially Deadly Sinners. (Track 02)
Bass. - Awesome(6/10). I can hear it, and the bassist is awesome. Really great.
Drums. - Great (8/10). Really great. I liked it. Heavy, and fast. Just the way I like my drums.
Production. - Superb (9/10). This record (/CD) was really well put together. Doesn't leave you thinking "Why the hell did this track come after this? It should have come after that track!"
Overall = 8/10
I reccommend(sp?) this CD for fans of oldschool english metal.
