Five Film Companies

OK, so now I have FIVE film companies interested in my film, one of them is Miramax... I must really have something here.

I e-mailed a couple of film biz lawyers and they never e-mailed back. Figures.... Oh well.

The latest one, BBC Films, I am really excited about because they have done some of the best British Films with the biggest directors, including "The Gathering Storm", directed by Ridley Scott, and "Enchanted April", directed by Mike Newell, as well as Mrs. Brown... And they work with Miramax.

These people are much easier to talk to than goth promoteres in nightclubs!!!

I have done every thing humanly possible to get Johnny Depp... But he hasn't passed. He hasn't said "no". Nothing has been sent back by snooty agent with attitude... I have sent Johnny Depp SO much stuff

Depp though in the last few years seems like He gotten this too cool for the room attitude when it comes to chosing projects. Then again, i notice that about of people whom have been oscar nominated.

Miramax all the way...they really know how to nurture a film...and they do really good with offbeat or non mainstream scripts. They don't royally rip apart a good idea like other studios tend to.

Thank you! I am beginning to think that this film might really be made... I can't believe it. And this is so fast!!!

I promise that if it gets made I will tell you all the casting info so you can all be in it.. (Featured extra stuff, but that's probably all I will get myself, but I want to be in it too, even if it is only a walk on...)

I am trying not to get too disappointed if Johnny Depp passes... But he hasn't passed. I sent stuff to him a long time ago, and I still haven't gotten any kind of pass letter, which is strange... But a lot of actors could do this..

This is so much fun!!! I just tell bigshot companies about the other bigshot companies that are interested, and then when I get more bigshots, I tell them about more bigshots that are interested... And then they thank me!!

Then I tell them about the bigshots that I am TRYING to get interested... And that sounds good too!!!

I swear I never sleep anymore, but it's fun!!! I mean, it's working.... I just can't believe it...

And Sam Mendes, you know he did Road to Perdition....

And he was just getting off the phone and I said, well how about just MENTIONING my script to them on the phone, just a 2 second pitch:

I've sent you two private messages on here and I've emailed both your email accounts and you haven't replied once. Are you mad at me? I understand you've been busy with the movie and all, but I'd really feel better if you would just email every once in awhile even if it's just to say hi. I haven't seen you on AIM except the first time I got my net back and as soon as I said hi, you logged out. Maybe, I'm just paranoid, but I think of you as a good friend and if you're mad at me, I'd like to know what is up, so maybe I can resolve the problem.

This is all just in case Johnny can't do it. I GUESS I could suffer through these two actors... So many actors, so little time...
