Help checking Obituaries online in a different state?

I am trying to find a friend, who may or may not be dead, and was wondering if anybody had any decent links to some NY Obituary type stuff, or knew how to check ?

What if the stuff was from january? do they have backlogs?

yes they should have archives...death is public record...

Well, After a lot of searching from before this post, I still havent found Her in there. I think that might Be a Good sign, and I hope it is.

I am very worried about Her, and hope that She is ok.



( I hate Grammar errors and the Asterisk stuff, but it's a bad habbit.)
