Hahaha. So I'm using MSN Messenger 7.0, I just installed this update thats supposed to keep it better secured... ahahahhaha Now I can't open it. It always says it's had an error, and can't open. hehe. I hate Microsoft. They try too hard, and are pure fucking evil.

I haven't had a problem with my new MSN. I don't like trillian because you can't direct connect with people. I hate emailing photos to people when I don't have to.

I have Trillian (here's a link for those who've never heard of it/used it btw - it's a free program) and direct connect works fine for me
You have 3.1? A lot got fixed with that - it used to be pretty unreliable back when it first came out (I've used it for quite a while now) but I've had no problems lately - nothing "missing" as there was before, it has all the file sending/webcam support as in the other messenger programs - I like it

Oh, yes Microsoft are evil but despite the image they would like to project, Apple are just as bad in their own way... They both want a monopoly, just one is better at making it "cool to be corporate".

You have to enable it when it's asked...it's rather easy.

Easy solution, I run a jabber server with transports for aol , msn, yahoo, icq and irc. Let me know if you want an account . I just need the user name you want .
