No big deal. Just not into stuff where no reciprocation would be possible. I like things to be fair.

Satin is one of the best aftercare solutions... all the pieces I've ever done have used it.
Easy to get by mail order if one of the local shops doesn't already have it. A 4 oz bottle will usually last months.
Safe and gentle enough for all piercings... Tech 2000 recommended for oral piercings.

i used a very dilute solution of Betadene. some piercings are just contrary, and in the case of a piercing that doesn't seem to want to heal ever, remove it, let it heal over and try again a few months later. for the record, left ear, both nipples (the left one didn't want to heal, so i took it out) and a Prince Albert.

Well the guy at the shop is having a hard time getting my navel ring and told me if I could buy it he would pierce it for less. Here is my question. Is titanium plated stainless steel the same as titanium or is it like stainless steel. I am having a hard time finding a plain titanium ring/barbell.

More than likely you are having a reaction to the nickel in the jewelry... most surgical grade stainless 'steel' contains 10% nickel... and it is very common for the body to react to it.
Surgical Implantation grade Titanium like Niobium is ideal in most new piercings being a biocompatible metal that doesn't cause a biological reaction.

Theres your problem. What moronic piercer told you to clean it that much??! He/she needs to find a new day job.

The only time you should clean it is when you get in the shower or spill spaghetti or something on it.

Guys, Im willing to bet 20 bucks that shes not allergic to the metal. Shes had several piercings etc, but if she was washing them 5 times a day, duh, theyll reject.
