This year the festivities will kick off with an homage to the Greatest of all americans...Hunter S. Thompson...by shooting at pictures of not so great americans ...while said pictures are attached to something explosive.

Personally I wanted propane tanks to do it right but their is just not enough room...for now.

I will be at a Party with some friends..we are going to roast a Pig which I have to leave to get started on here in a few minutes so it will be ready for tommorow night...

Then we will probally eat pig...Drink Beer and whatever alcohol we have on hand...Then shoot bottle rockets at each other in a Massive Rocket War we have each year....

Then usually me and the others in the guns club will target practice with the Osama Targets we found...

Then its time to find our girlfriends..Have some nasty sex and go to bed...

I worked. I took a break, went outside, saw a few fireworks... Was unimpressed, and returned to work.

The Only display of Fireworks, Computer Generated or Real, that I have seen that was worth watching in Almost a decade around here would be the FireWorks Scene in the Lord Of The Rings: FellowShip Of The Ring.

We missed them too! But not for lack of trying. Originally we were going to hang out at Twin Peaks, which offers an almost-360 degree view of SF. But we got fogged out and couldn't see five feet in front of us So, at 9pm, we tried to go to the Marina, which is a flattened waterfront facing the water, at which we could watch fireworks launched off a big boat. No go, it was already crowded like Times Sq. on NYE. So we just decided to go home. Oh well. We made ourselves feel better by saying the fireworks @ Burning Man is much better.

The Burning Man is something I want to see someday. One of my friends has been, and said its something not to be missed, but its also hard to describe. I can imagine the fireworks there

Well nobody died at our 4th of July party....As I said we ate pig...Drank alcohol...We shot the Osama targets...The only unexpected thing was the surprise home made firecrackers that went off in the creek....Scared the shit outa everyone...Water went everywhere and it put out the fire.....We also all chipped in about 25 dollars a piece and bought GOOD fireworks....I think we had about 250 dollars worth when we were done...I cant remember because I was Waaaaaaaaaay past drunk....But all in all the little party was a success...

I was at a 4 day electronic music festival. Tons'0'Fun! Took tons of fun drugs on that m Saturday and actually didn't have much fun on the 4th. I ended up drinking too much and passing out after eating mushrooms = S wasted drugs=bad me
but I slept really well!

i watched the twilight zome marathon on tv and went out for sushi... never even heard hte fireworks go off... i wans't feeling particularly patriotic any way...
