Default More Advice From The 10 Year Old Diva

So my "agent" is this ten year old diva, (she has a CHANEL suit, OK)... So I asked her what I should do now that I have the biggest directors' producers, actors/actresses interested, and she says" BEG THEM TO DO IT!! PLEAD WITH THEM!! BEG THEM!!"

Do you think sending FLOWERS to the agent of the actress with the song I want her to sing is too much? Jeff says it's too much... But then, you don't want to get lost in the shuffle. They have my script, but think how many scripts this actress must have...

Anyway, things seems pretty steady, no one has said YES, but no one has said NO. Pretty nerve wracking. They all have my script.

I have every major star and director that I could possibly want interested. I can't think of anyone else... SO I guess I will just keep them all informed of any new developments, etc. or anything else I can think of to say....

"Gifting" is a good idea in my opinion, but flowers seem very drab and forgetable. Find out who smokes and/or drinks, then send them something more personal to their tastes. A Zippo to a smoking guy/gal, or some quality booze to the drinkers, maybe a nice set of drinking glasses. Most people will appreciate a thoughtfull gift as opposed to a generic one. And may tend to remember the person who sent it as well.

The real answer to your question, is that if they really are interested, what you need from them, is something called a "letter of intent". Which says: "I will do this movie, for "X" dollars, once it is funded..." Then when you have all those letters of intent, you can go get funding. Most likely, you will want to use those letters of intent, as a lure to get a producer, and director. Then let them go get the funding with you. But if you don't already have the money, then to get it, the funding banks, money people, etc, need letters confirming that these stars will be in the movie once you have money to pay them...
