Where did blue blood start?

my girlfriend and i got into the discusion about blue blood and she says that it was started on the east coast in the dc/md area. is any of this true or is she nuttier then normal? can't wait to see carlos's book out on reptilian records/books(?).....

Your girlfriend is dead on correct. Blue Blood totally came out of the DC/Baltimore scene. As time has gone by, I've realized how much Blue Blood's values and mission and aesthetics still speak to that sensibility.
