    ok.I'll go first...
I think it was the wicked witch in Snow White..I am not sure but did anyone else have a crush on her?.I always had a feeling I was a little bit wicked and a little bit sweet..I had a crush on both Snow White and her wicked step mother...mainly because at the time they both sported black hair and my hair was a very very dark shade of brown ...kids in grade school even callled me snow white..aw those days are gone..but of course the tradition is still going on for me... .....and then in highschool the more popular thoughts ..Siouxsie..Robert Smith...Peter Murphy...blah..blah..

Lydia Deets / Winona Ryder in 1988. I was 6 or 7 at the time.

I might me showing my age here, but it was all about the kinky Catwoman in the early to mid 70's Batman TV series, followed shortly by Deborah Harry and her crazy sexy ultra cool clublife style.

Mmmmmm, Julie Newmar. Yeah, she and Yvonne Craig in that metallic purple Bat-Girl suit, they were the good shit right there. Of course, Lynda Carter must be credited in this discussion as inventing the hard-on when she played Wonder Woman (though Charlie's Angels were right in that time period too, I typically give the prize to Lynda as the inventor...). Right in that time period, but not as in-the-flesh as the others, was Joe Staton's Huntress character (the original one, who was the daughter of the Earth-2 Batman and Catwoman). Man, that was a fine piece of woman. OK, I'll stop geeking out over comic book characters now, and go...um...take a shower or something. Yeah. That's it.

I would have to agree on that one. Fairy Tales really affected me when I was younger. I fell on love with corsets through Snow White. I cant say it was the movie version though, but I would sit and read fairy tales for hours. So she looked alittle different in my head.

Also Ive had a thing for the stereotyped saloon girls since I was little too. The fishnets and granny boots with garter belt, nothing better.

Heh, my first crush was Tim Curry from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

    Does that count?

I never *got* Rocky like so many folks did, but that definitely counts.

I think the problem for me might have been that I saw it first in an English language theatre in the Middle East when I was fourteen and none of us knew there was supposed to be a food fight or costumes or something involved in the festivities.

The first fro me was this beautiful alluring woman walking thorugh the supermarket pushing a cart of groceries, in a red leather corset, and long flowing black skirt with boots. Her makeup drew you into her eyes. I was like 8 and I was mezmerized. She seems so out of place to me atthe time...like she should be somewhere much more suited for her beauty than a piggly wiggly (I grew up in NC as a child)! I also adored the fairytale temptresses.

    What?

    No love for Elvira?!?

OK, I saw Julie Newmar as Catwoman first. And if I am honest with myself I know that if a girl really knows how to purr she owns me. But Elvira. Funny, sexy, wears too much makeup, big hair even for the 80s. MST3K had nothing on her. Nothing.

I thought the mannequin looked better in the dress but that was probably because she had a full body spiderweb-mesh suit..

Pop off just the head and screw on the actress' head = PERFECT.

Her band it's called Fangoria... i was very young so perhaps that's wy i still like her...

Lilly Munster and Lydia Deets for sure. Also David Bowie in Labrynth as the goblin king. That's about as far back as I can remember, I have a horrible memory.

I feel like I should know the exact moment I first came across something dark and beautiful and I just can't think of what the first glimpse would have been. I can think of a lot of things I found darkly erotic or lovely early on, but I have no idea what was first. I'm going to keep wracking my brain.

The skinhead couple that went to my high school.

He was like 17 and she was 14. They were always making out in hall. I think he killed her dad and stole her or something. She was the first girl in my class to get pregnant - eventually, it was said that our class colors were really pink and baby blue. But yeah, they were as bizarre and disgusting as they were fascinating to me. Strangely, she turned out completely normal as an adult. She is in marketing now and, while still gorgeous, bears no resemblance whatsoever to her teenage self. She even has a tan.
