I was expecting one of those things that's like "if you love jesus then stare at the screen for five seconds, and turn the volume all the way up to hear the lords prayor. and then a ghoulie pops up and goes boogaboogaboogaboo! I hate those things. I wish I saw something that was actually scary and not surprising/startling.

an old message board that I belonged to, the owner built this complex game involving point and click, word puzzles, URl and java, and riddles where you advanced from page to page. everyone on the board worked togther at solving it and the thing is that no one knew how many pages it went to, and no on even really knew what it was all about. the guy who ran the message board denying having anything to do with it, so people tried to track down the domain and all this shit, at one point you could get a telephone number and the guy would call you back and play a recorded message, and people would come to the board and leave weird posts that contained clues to it. it was really a lot of fun. in the end the solution to final puzzle was were you had to decode these pictures and the soltuion was "assless chaps" lol. at that point a message would pop up congradulating you and revealing that the moderator was the one behind it all along.
