There are alot more people here that the ones that post. Myself included I read alot more than I post. In general I am a quiet person, sometimes I just don't feel up to posting but enjoy reading. I know there are others here like me.

Do you not post as often as you read? If so why?

Also if your just a lurker come out and introduce yourself here. A thread for the less heard.

I agree with you on that. Especially with this contest, people are coming up with thread topics, that have probably been covered at least 3 times. But hey this is just my 2 cents.

Well, post something entertaining and insightful...

I think if you just post your negative nelly opinion about the community conversations, you lose the right to turn around and call others fussy without just looking silly.

funny. i would have sworn the topic here was to post why you dont post? oh well. im done with the topic after this and who uses negative nelly nowadays? youre a good guy forrest, mad props but I just dont feel like exercising the thought into an interesting topic when people feel the need to act like I just shaved their puppy dog in front of em.

i don't imagine anyone gives a damn about the things that interest me. i try to throw in the occasional smart-arse comment when i see the opportunity, but in general, unless someone's posting about the animated Moebius vid Arzach Rhapsody, or Jethro Tull's "Warchild" album, or how frustrating it is to get so far and then die suddenly in nethack..

as above, i only post if i have something worthwhile to say...ive had a lot of boards get the shits with me in the past for posting copious amounts fo meaningless dribble...so yea...showing a little restraint here

yeh...i've become a lurker...I used to love posting here...posted like crazy for a few months but then i forgot my account password, met a really cool girl and when i eventually got back..it seemed like the place was a hell of a lot busier with tons of new faces i didnt recognise. So now i just read the boards several times a week. Like nudemuse...i just cant really think of anything constructive to say here anymore.

still the best message board on the net though.

That makes sense, but reading this part of your answer, I get: "I don't have a lot of worthwhile things to say." I personally don't post a lot because all I ever do is find some small detail to extract out of an entire post in an effort to magnify until it is completely out of proportion. I also think my type of blatent sarcasm is too time consuming for me to accurately convey to any audience that does not know me well. Because of this, I am lead to steer clear of posting on any board and instead stick with the much easier option of lurking.

In other words, I'm lazy.
