Do you ever use the internet for work? Promoting your band, researching a term paper, getting modeling gigs, scouting talent, programming something for dough etc.? Or are you pretty much by definition goofing off, if you are online?

I used to work as PHP/MySQL programmer for austrian and swiss companies and sent them all my work via the internet.
But on the other hand, I could just have dreamed that, and I'm a satanist with no eyebrows normally wearing a buttplug and living in a crypt, for real.. ,p

I use it all the time...When building PCs and servers you have to use it...Updating different programs Etc....Also its the best and only way to stay up on new stuff that comes out...And its where I order my parts...I also have 2 Customers that pay for Online Tech support...I can Network directly to their PC and remotely look at it to find and fix any probs they may have...

It is extremely useful when doing any type of Work, Play,etc.

I used to be a web designer so the internet was a must in terms of getting inspiration. Other ways I use the internet are self-expression, as a dictionary, as research material, for fun, for news, for learning, for looking up local places and happenings, for downloading things, etc.
