Apparently Don Adams has died today (Link) at the age of 82. I loved 'Get Smart' in my youth.

would you believe two heart attacks, a stroke and an angry boy scout?
He was so funny. I wanted to talk into my shoe in public.
growing up he was my hero... and i wanted to bang 99... lol. Maxwell Smart was the coolest spy ever. I still make Cone of Silence jokes all the time.
Ah he was a classic...one of the best shows ever with the best opening of any. He'll be missed but like many TV greats he'll live forever through his work.
Damn. I thought that he one of those gadgets that made him immortal. Oh right a tv camera. I seriously thought he was gonna be around forever. *sniffle*
K
that's so sad, i loved Get Smart when I was little the showed re-runs all the time. Why do the good folks have to go?? :'(
Maybe Amelia can add a tribute image in her next shoot.
On Get Smart, and as the voice of Tennessee Tuxedo, he helped keep me entertained in my youth...I was never a big Inspector Gadget fan, but many people loved it. I enjoyed his work, and am sorry that he lived to see Mathew Broderick ape his work in that horrible movie. Rest well, Don Adams.
With out him, the Evil forces of Chaos now have a chance to take over the world.
BEWARE...BEWARE

Don't over look The Claw for a world domination kick as well![]()
Here's an interesting note:
In the brief time that the show as on the air, they gave Don Adams two options before he would do the series. More money, no ownership or ownership and less money.
Guess which one he took?
