Country Music ??!!

I've noticed an increase in the number of people listening to country music in the last year or so. WTF! It almost seems like people think they are being more patriotic, or something, by listening to country .
Has anyone else noticed this phenominum or am I just going insane?

It might just be that because I don't listen to country music I am more prone to noticing...not that I'm saying its wrong to listen to it, its just that I personaly can't stand any of it accept for Johnny Cash because he's almost rock 'n' roll.

ive been listening to country almost my whole life so i dont see any change, ive always considered myself prety patriotic to but that has nothing to do with my music choices

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everyone who listens to country is doing so for this reason. It just seems like people that people who weren't already on the path to country music are being drawn in for reasons other than their enjoyment.
