I don't think they make bean bags anymore.
Sure do, you can buy bean bags at Wal-mart, Spencer's, Toys-r-Us. What they don't make any more is a butt load of stuff I grew up on, like Teddy Ruxpin, or glow worms.

They still make electric knives, luv. At least they do here in Canada.
What i can't get is the flavoured peanut butter-type spread i used to love as a kid, i think it was called Koogle. They had flavours like chocolate, cinnamon, banana and strawberry. I loved that crap.
<insert nostalgic sigh here>

glow worms are still around. they just make them in rainbow colors.Originally Posted by keiko
and they brake really easy.
Oddly enough, in America, that is reversed. They heavily promote flavoured peanut butter, but strongly discourage electric knives.Originally Posted by Histrionica
I loved that stuff. The Teddy Ruxpin stuff Rocked!Originally Posted by keiko
I remember the cartoon also!
I have a difficult time with shampoo. They discontinued one that I liked (St. Ives Vanilla) and changed the formula on two others (Neutragena and Pantene).
I can't find as many bands as I'd like on vinyl..... I have to order a lot of records from overseas, but some just flat-out don't exist.
Allerest - the only OTC allergy pill that ever worked for me.
They still have Koogle in the States?
* runs out to email American friends *

penny candy. you could really buy candy for a penny :p
I forgot what brand, but they have Chocolate, Apple, Cinamon, and many other Peanut Butter Flavors. It might be Jiff, or some other brand.Originally Posted by Histrionica
Lately though, Peanut Butter is not as good as it used to be. They really should be a lot more strict on how many roach parts they allow into Peanut butter, as well as all those other stuff they let pass.
Creamy Peanut Butter is not supposed to be crunchy! Regardless of it's Type, Peanut Butter is not supposed to have Wings in them! (Hint, Hint)!
Bah, Reminds me of Hardee's all over again.
hardee's and mcdonald's are some of the worst quality places here, even if mcdonald's food tastes the best. Working there sucked, and I havent eaten from either place unless forced to, after I found out the stuff they let slide.
K : I never knew they still made bean bags! I suppose I wasn't looking in the right place. I remember when I used to use Vidal Sasson shampoo, it had a different smell back in the 80's, it was like cherry almond, it smelled so good. What about Love's Baby Soft perfume? And Hawaiian White Ginger perfume from Avon, it reminds me of my grandmom.
Whoa. I just had a flashback of making out with someone who used to wash with the St Ives stuff. I ran out and bought some to try after I stopped seeing the person who smelled so good with it on. But it wasn't moist enough for my hair.Originally Posted by macabrette

I get my Baby Soft from Wal-mart too, but it make my kitty sneeze, and while cute, it's not really good for him. I think you have to call the Avon lady to get Hawaiian White Ginger. My gramom still wears it. Don't know what to tell you about the Vidal Sassoon, that's out of my control.Originally Posted by Mirren
What I do miss is being able to find green apple scented candles. Suddenly all the pale green candles are cucumber melon, which just smells like Lysol to me. Guess I'll just have to use extra green apple scented shampoo to make my bathroom smell that good...

oooh, Hawaiian White Ginger, Ive always loved it, I have some around here somewheres.Originally Posted by keiko
I wish I could get my hands on some of those old Garbage Pail Kids cards they had back in the ancient days :p and Loves Baby Soft, oh that brings back memories..
Bacon and sour cream flavored Ruffles
The stuffed Popples toys. God, I miss watching them every morning.
Teddy Ruxpin
"Hi! I'm Teddy Ruxpin. Do you want to hear a story?"
love that bear
Peanut crackers. I used to be able to get these, and now they've mysteriously vanished. They were a Japanese snack, spicy on the outside, crunchy... They must have laced them with opium or something, because once you started eating them it was all over. You would pawn your mom for a sack of the little bastards.
I used to love playing AC/DC tapes in mine.Originally Posted by Sin

I still have my Popples sing along on vinyl ,and I bet my Popples sleeping bag is some where safe. And yes I remember Pogs, or MilkCaps and my grandfather knew them. I still have mine. They'll be back.
They've brought back "My Little Pony", "Rainbow Bright", "Carebears", and "He-Man". Anybody seen She-Ra? The female empowerment cartoon of the mid-eighties, teaching little girls every where to be independant by riding on the coat tails of a big strong man.
Ahh, the memories...
K
no problem. i've seem them mixed in with the pokemon cards, ect....at the check outs
Pez Guns
They are common in Europe Still.
According to the News, they said that people in America are too stupid to use them, and they actually had an astonishing amount of people who somehow killed themselves by accident while using them.
they dont make any food anymore without the stupid "ONLY ___ NET CARBS!" label...hehe..okay, well they do, but all this stupid carb craze bullshit is pissing me off...
