Last time I went up there, there was even less to do.
A lot of the clubs and bars I used to go to were dead,
and even Eureka was pretty dead. School was out,
so maybe that was part of it, but I really saw nothing

heh.. i guess i should've said "i live way the hell to the north" hee hee! distance is relative up here. i am in crescent city... so NO bars or clubs or anything... yeah, poor me.... that's ok, though. i had enough of that when i lived in the city.
and i did a little college. now i am a starving artist (should've finished college so i wouldn't be starving!)

No one knew where Arcata was, or Eureka.

The best way to describe it to people from SoCal, or elsewhere,
is that you live on the border, in between California and Oregon,
in the middle of the woods...

When I would tell people I lived in Northern California,
they would say, "San Fransisco?"
I'd say, "No... Keep going further north... Much further..."
Hey, don't feel bad, one of my friends grew up in Willits.
It's the halfway point when driving up there.
And it really is in the middle of nowhere.
But then again, so is Crescent City!
