I am starting my own web-page, and I can't think of a background color for the web-site,
it is www.bondageclown.com

I am putting an about me page on it, and stuff about the projects I am working on...

If any of you wouldn't mind helping me with ideas.. that would be great... thank you so much

well do you want it to be clownlike? or something more personal? i run two sites www.jadeddreads.com & www.angelstakeform.com both reflect my personality lol

so i guess it's up to you! maybe what you need is a template though. having a template sometimes helps with what color to use as a backround

I'd do a Circus theme. Candy strips and stuff. Close your eyes and visualize the mid-way at dusk as the lights come on. Banners, carnies. Don't use a color background at all, use a pict. It will give it depth. Maybe something like this:

i would do a casual google search to make sure you aren't stepping on the toes of any other bondage clowns.

then i'd find the most annoying animated .GIF you could find, and tile it.

something red and blue, that flashes fast enough to bring on epilepsy. oh, don't forget the annoying sound repeating in the background!

from a designers point of view id agree with voldta, templates are by far the bestway to design a site, as you sort out the layout, color scheme etc before you code. if you jump straight into coding it ur gonna end up with a pretty blocky website.

cool! have you considered forming a collective? i've noticed lately that i can get telemarketers to hang up almost immediately if i say "i'm sorry, we're a collective here. there's about twenty of us, and i don't know who pays the phone bills."
