We just upgraded the Blue Blood Banner Exchange pretty significantly!

As some of you may have noticed, the poor old Blue Blood Banner Exchange was suffering under the pounding it was getting from the thousands of participating sites. The old code does still work, but the new code is really awesome.

I'm very pleased with the new system. It's really super cool. You can have multiple banners for your site and we're even offering multiple banner sizes, depending on what fits your page. You can also move your earned credits from one size to the other. Currently we're offering standard 468x60 sizes as well as the popular 100x150 'friends' sized spots. Also, right now, we're giving quite a few bonus exposures to approved sites for simply signing up!

The Blue Blood Banner Exchange has been around for many many years and it certainly has helped launch some really big sites. I'm really proud to have offered this service for as many years as Blue Blood has, because I really think it's a great tool for the whole community. We've had some great site from cool bands and talented designers and artists and fun blogs and models and all sorts of cool folks.

Essentially, I really like banner exchanges. I think they are a really fair way to expose a lot of sites to the folks that would most be interested in them, in a really fair way. Sites participate and earn credits for banners they show on their site(s) and those credits are used to show their banners on other participating sites. That way, large busy sites can participate alongside smaller sites that might not be as popular yet.

Participating in a very large and widely distributed banner exchange, like the Blue Blood Banner Exchange, is really ideal, since you can count on being seen all over the web, on lots of other really fun and interesting sites.

Anyhow, I just got done upgrading it, and I wanted to give you guys the heads up first. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the exchange and ways in which it could potentially help you promote your projects and such.

Weird, several people have tested the sign up already and it worked fine. Maybe your mail provider is being a problem.

thanks hope this new code brings more hits to the site. I only had 15 hits with like 6500 credits. Oh well least you guys get hits im sure I plaster the damn banners all over our site

I had to clean up some old stuff. I think your account was caught on hold for approval after you swapped out the banner, so you were still earning credits. You will get much better response now that you are on the new system.
