*sniffle* It was so sad to watch the tribute show last night.
K
I didnt see it but I do remember watching him on wwe. he was a damn good performer and one of the best heels they ever had.
eddie was one of the best they had. he was the same guy in and out of the ring..real.
viva latino heat!
and he had some fly wheels too. anyone remember the car he use dot drive up to the ring in?
aye, they had His hoopdie up on stage left for the entire RAW show in tribute of Eddie G,
wow, that is horrible.... anyone remember in WCW "viva la raza"?
It is sad, Eddie os just another in a long list of performers recently who have fallen victim to the business. One of the reasons i left.
after I read "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's autobiography I got alot more respect for those guys... 250+ shows per year??? sometimes in different states on the same day?? WTF?
'rasslin's a hard, hard, hard life.
those guys get my total respect.
(uh...plus, from what I understand, they're all drugged outof their minds to numb out the pain from chronic injuries, and armed to the teeth )
check out Piper's bio for a discription of what the scene was like in the LA during the 70's...INSANE (as in nightly fan riots...)
Really sad. You kinda feel like you know people when you watch them on tv every week.
