I think it's cool that people think about unconventional careers.
It actually pays pretty well, because not too many people like being
away from their families for such extended time periods.
It's a good job if you're a loner.
You can listen to music, etc...
But yes, as a female trucker, you have to look out for the other truckers,
drug addiction, and other perils of the road. But if you can keep it safe,
it can be a cool way to make some money, so you can save up to do
something else later, if you decide it's not for you...
But I give props to anyone willing to try something.
If working at the mall isn't doing it for you, join the army.
If working at a call center sucks, try being a trucker.
If working as a waitress is lame, try joining the peace corps.
There are always options.
When people get depressed, or suicidal, etc, I tell them to try a new life.
New place, new career, new friends, etc...
Try something new.
Eventually you'll find something you like.
