NYC Transit Strike!!!!

OK there is a transit strike here in New York, NY, which means I WALKED TO WORK, and I guess I will WALK HOME, which is 80 blocks!!!


The cab drivers just ignore everyone.... Oh well, it's a good thing I am in shape and I walk a lot... I just hope I don't have to walk to work TOMORROW...

Urgh, transit strikes suck serious ass. I'm lucky I live in a country area, if only for that sole reason. I think a week or so ago, most buses and trains and such stopped in Brisbane because of terror threats which of course never eventuated.

Well I didn't come to work yesterday, but I walked to work today!!! Thank god I still have a few pain pills left!!! AH!!!

I think I will walk home too, I slept a lot yesterday and feel pretty good. I swear, in New York, you really have to have energy and you have to be strong. Only the strong survive. Becoming a New Yorker has really made me more aggressive and tough. Oh, and you HAVE to have a dark sense of humor....
