    Default Massaging my eyeball

So I'm off to try out Thai massage. I'm hoping it will help my twitchy eye. Otherwise I'm going to have to try Keiko's stabbing people on the bus suggestion next. Anyone else here ever get Thai massage?

Never had a Thai massage, but I have massaged a Thai, named Lilly oddly enough...lemme know how it goes. I might have to invest in the experience.

I live right by Thai Town in Los Angeles and Thai massage is considerably less expensive than going to a spa. Just got two hours. Feel MUCH better, but still a little tense. Maaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyybeeeeeeee stress is the thang. No eye tic at the moment though. Fingers crossed that this works. Beats having to stab people on the bus. I think.

Thai massage is oddly full contact and involves more pounding and twisting into unusual positions than a more traditional Western massage. Pretty cool once I sort of relaxed into it.

Not really, but I like pressing against my eyeballs (after closing the eyelids, of course). Creates cool patterns and fractals in my brain. It'll probably make me stupid, but I couldn't care less ,p

Thai massages are awesome. In Thailand you offset the cost of flying there with their massages-- at $6/hour you might as well live at the massage place. I also love the ones where they concentrate on your feet for an hour... pure bliss.

I also tried Thai boxing once. It bruised the entire length of my lower leg. Apparently the type I tried (Muy Thai-- sp?) makes you kick in a way such that your torque your hips to slam your leg into your opponent, as if your leg was a dead weight. Now imagine two legs bashing into each other this way, at the shin.

    >.< Ooo.. That must've hurt.

I'd love to get a message, Thai or not.

People say I'm good at massaging backs and feet, my sister even payed me $10 to do it.

Maybe I should try Thai massage. Would you recommend it?

I totally selected that because my eye twitch has been driving me up the wall lately and I thought the cartoon was funny. Thai massage was nice, but my damn eye is still twitching.

I've heard that Botox can be used to combat facial ticcing. Have you been to see your doc yet, Amelia?

I went to my general doctor the last time I had this tic, but it was doing it much less then and semi-stopped by the time of my appointment. I think I might go to an eye doctor if it doesn't clear up soon. I don't know if I can live in LA and get Botox though. It seems too cliche somehow. Of course, I don't know if I can keep ticcing like this and get enough of my work done, so I suppose it is something to consider.

Well, keep us updated. I'm sure that it must be slowly driving you right off your nut. That sucketh mightily.

And keep in mind the Botox wouldn't be for vanity or a fear or hatred of old age.
