Thread: Is the Bible describing a Poltergesi here?

Default Is the Bible describing a Poltergesi here?

    Job chapter 4 verses 12-16
A word was secretly brought to me
my ears caught a whisper of it
Amid disquieting dreams in the night
    Fear and trembling seized me
And made all my bones shake
A spirit glided past my face
And the hair on my body stood on end
    It stopped
But I could not tell what it was
A form stood before my eyes
And I heard a hushed voice saying...

It sounds even more impressive in the KJV

I would realy love to read the bible... not this that we have but the real uncensored one... that one is keept in the Vatican....
where did Christ went between his birth and comeback to Jerusalem. If you dig enought you can find tracks of his path trough India, about many wifes and children he had and so on....

    He was one big mofo....

Other sources say Christ might have been (between the ages of 12 and 30) not to India, but to England. His Uncle, Josehh of Aramethia was wealthy (In was in his tomb Christ was buried) and owned Tin mines in England and the theory is Jeus might have accompanied his uncle on some of the trips there.
Yes, ive read the bible cover to cover as well as the Koran, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Satanic Bible. Hey, im well rounded.

There are all kinds of bizarre things in the Bible....UFOs (the wheel in the sky), Spontanious combustion (the burning bush), People turned to metal salt (Lot's wife was turned to a pillar of salt, salt in Biblical times didn't mean just NaCL, it meant substances mined from the earth), demonic possesion, the list goes on and on. It's a regular religous X-files!

I am just always amazed how many people take this poorly written piece of literature so serious.

So true..if the bible was created by Bob Kane, maybe Rock would like it better.

That reminded me of a joke from Family Guy about Jesus and Moses fighting off the romans with guns.

I personally really like it, as a holy book and just as a book. And fuck yeah-- there should be a 'Jesus and Pals' comic about JC. Come on, He's the son of God-- He's got to have a sense of humour.
Finally, *even if* it's totally 100% literally true... why take anything seriously?

What am I, an idiot?! I totally forgot the wonderful comic series BATTLE POPE, who has Jesus as his sidekick. Seriously good rag.
