What is your favorite part of the body for a tattoo? I think scalp tattoos are really sexy. This is partly because I like mohawks, but also because the collector could change lifestyles and let their hair grow in and there would still be this secret wild thing you could find out with two fistfulls of their hair in your lap.

Ok, so I agree with this but I also disagree. i think it totally depends...those chicks who only get these kinds of tattoos that truely mean nothing...they suck. Tattoos are supposed to mean something, not just act as a trendy decoration. Most of the dumbass girls I went to university with had one there that had NO meaning and it was their only tattoo. That is wrong.

My lower back tattoo was my third one. It has a peace sign, a heart and a Yin-yang...peace, love and harmony, surrounded by green and gold tribal designs. It has meaning, I designed it myself, and I put it there because that was an appropriate place. I can show it off without having to expose too much....it flows with the curves of my lower back/upper ass....

Anyway, yeah...that's that.

My favorite place to look at other people's tats are....hip and upper thigh for women and shoulders/arms for men

It depends if you are talking about singular tattoos, or full coverage.

If it is a singular tattoo, I think the arm is a good place.
The back is also good.

But if you are talking about larger coverage,
sleeves look really cool, if they are good work.
If they are full of junk, it just looks messy.

no, but seriously...I LOVE tattoos on boys. I prefer larger work to bunches of smaller pieces. Eclectic full body suits are the coolest. My bf has a paul booth sleeve, traditional designs on most of the rest of his body and he's saving his back for a big colorful portrait of kali.

Tattoos on girls can be sexy too. I really like tattoos that accentuate a woman's curves. Something pretty and symetrical on the front of the hips or a well done wide lower back band is really nice. Wrist and ankle tattoos are always good too.

I would actually probably be more heavily tattooed if I weren't doing the stripper thing. When I retire from that I actually have a rough outline of a backpiece that I think I want Juli Moon to do. I also want matching super heroin arm bands that look all shiny with a big pink stone in the center (one for each bicep). I have a weird symetry issue so I could never have a tattoo on my body that wasn't exactly mirrored on the other side - hence the matching ankle tattoos and of course both nipples match.

the best places IMHO are the upperchest/collar/shoulders area, if they're not lame, which most of them are and are "traditional"...

which the only "tradition" I see is the one of getting lame, uncreative cliched tatoos. so instead I'll call them "lame, uncreative, cliched tatoos"

and i'm also quite partial to lower tummy tatoos on girls, yummy.

one of the worst spots is on the sides of the neck, i've seen very few people that have done that and had it look good.
