What, are they trying to take over the world or something?

    ...I would suggest baby cats.

Nah, just have a bad 'nuff mice problem as it is, one known rat, and about 5 known mice. 3 more are born in my room. Heh. I hate field mice. Bastards.

You need an owl or a hawk,
    yeah.. that's it... then you'll
be rid of them lil' pests.

Of course, once the mice are
    gone... that's an entire other
problem, but at least the mice
    will be taken care of.

    A flame-thrower
    15 horse shoes
    3 sticks of Dynamite
    4 bottles of NOS

Mix all them together in a tub of sulphric acid, and let simmer.

While waiting.. how about a game.. would you liike to play chess.. how about global thermal-nuclear War?

    Where was I ..

Oh yeah... after mixture becomes toxically beautiful.. pour into basement.. and wait with pellet gun outside.. the critters will be glowing brightly even in the day-light

Maybe give them to your neighbours' kids? That sounds like a weenie method at first, but you could feed them anthrax or c4. That's what I might do, one of these days, if these morons can't stop their kids from yelling from 11pm-5am every day. They're not crying, they're yelling. Like emo-boyband-singers. Just worse.

I found the traditional mouse traps work the best a bit of snickers as bait and BANG eye-popping death for our rodent friends.

I personaly would catch them somehow and return them to the nature. Where they can happily live they life forever. If not that try leaving crap food on floors, they'll eventualy get fat and slow or they'll die from heart attack.

    Last idea.... move out

we had mice in our house once... they LOVE chocolate bars... i think it was snickers we had, halloween candy size, they ate everything except for the caramel bit in the middle.
    weird.
my boyfriend squishes them at work with pallet jacks... with 1000 pound pallets on them. nothin but a red stain... EW.

i kind of like house mice. ever since i moved out its been difficult to sleep without the incessant knawing. That being said, you can get these sonic traps about the size of a glade plugin. all the mice at my mom's house were too crafty for traps, but like the day after she plugged these in there were carcasses everywhere.

I recommend a small spring trap and peanut butter. It sounds horribly inhumane, but it's so fast they never know what hit them. I do not recommend rat poison or glue traps. Those are very inhumane and not always very effective. Besides if you use poison they can crawl behind something or into the wall and die, then you get a very unpleasant surprise in a few months.

aw ew *flashback* when we used to live in nanaimo (on vancouver island) there was like a small forest beside our house... my brother and his friends used to go in there and find newts... or some kinda things anyway... my mom let him keep some in a fishtank and when we moved here to vancouver... we found one of them all dried up and like... newt-shaped-beef-jerky-like behind a dresser or something.
    it was icky.
