Who is your favorite movie mobster actor?

*secret*... ive never watched a mob movie...not even the godfather....i haven't seen Alice in Wonderland all of the way through either...im severly lacking in the classic movie dept.

I wish they would bring back The Untouchables tv series. It wasn't the most honest depiction of Gangster life, but I enjoyed it On the otherhand, I also grew up watching the original Batman shorts, before the TV series. It was black and white, and he was battling mobsters. They had the huge black classic cars with running boards, so six guys could hang on and ride outside with Tommyguns. Robin had big curly hair too.

I remember them as well, from the 1940s movie serials, first in 1943 and a second set in 49. I have the first set ov DVD from FYE)http://shop.fye.com/product.aspx?sku=40706200&loc=50244) and the second set is due out this week. But I have to agree, Al Pachino in Scarface is My fave Mobster movie actor and character, then the Godfather, with Marlon Brando is a close second.

James Cagney was great! Have you ever seen "Public Enemy", with James Cagney and Jean Harlow!! Excellent!

Indeed, although I think "White Heat" (1949) is my fave movie of his. "Top a' th' world, ma!"

Wow! My specialist subject! I love mobster movies. I'd take De Niro in the untouchables, Finney in Millers Crossing and John Huston in Chinatown (not technically a mobster, but a nasty piece of work anyways)
