You should go for it. I would recommend researching the area you plan to work in. I have a friend who is a pastry chef and she had a hard time finding work as a pastry chef in our area. She worked as a kitchen manager for a BBQ restaurant for several years before a job in her specialized filed opened up! Hey, you'd always be able to find work soemwhere. People are always gonna eat!!!
