how do you acquire and change your avatars?

I made mine. If you go into your profile it's pretty easy if you can size images.

If you search for XP Power Tools, you should find the Image Resizer. Its what I have, and it works beautifully. Assuming you have XP.

yep. google image search is your friend. i typed in "blood red project" and a whole bunch of stuff came up; that was among the best. some creative cropping, increase the saturation to make the red brighter, et voila.

then i had to host it online. i could have sent it to the tiny 10meg space my ISP allows, but http://fapomatic.com/ is much better, and it's free.

okay, use this one. it looks the same, but it's actually 80x80:



1: right-click on the image, select "save as", and remember where you've saved it.

2: at the top of this page you'll see "quick links"; select "edit avatar".

3: under "custom avatar", click on "Browse", and find the image you saved in step 1

4: click on "save changes". and "Bob"'s your 50s Salesman-Saucer-Cult Clipart Icon.

Bloodred, here is the file that sheramil made. I'm not certain why but the images keep getting upsized to 175x175. It should be the appropriate size in dimension and kb.



To save it, follow the directions that sheramil gave. If you are on Mac, use the same directions, or just drag it to your desktop.
