Do the "Forlorn Watchman" quest. When you're given the location of the treasure, follow the river inland and look for a bridge over the river. Under the brige, floating in the water will be a troll who's carrying a hillarious note.Originally Posted by Flip
I'm sure having to go searching for it, it won't be as funny as just stumbling on it. But it's still gonna be good.
I've been waiting for a while for Bethesda to show some of the humor they had all over the place in Morrowind. This is the first example. So far Oblivion has been pretty dry. :-(
i'll check it later tonightOriginally Posted by Rockwulf
man, i didnt know there were people out there who played it as well...although i got pissed off at the game when i couldnt get into the last boss' fort (you know, the one thats almost in the middle of the map in morrowind) and sold the damn thing a month later.....i used to spend hours on that thing trying to get the main mission done and just kept getting side tracked....btw how DO you get into the last fort for you of those out there who did that part?
the game company would lose a lot of money if other people besides yourself didnt play itOriginally Posted by BloodredProject2402
so your never the only one!
and plus a lot of us are videogame nuts. i just happen to be envious of the lovely keiko here because of her xbox360 desert party she went to
...even though that was back in NOVEMBER! lol![]()
haha, well i know other people play it but it just seemed they were very far, few, and in between adn thought they like the ones who live in thier moms basement and hoard anything that has to do with scifi or fantasy realated objects
i love TES, some of the best games ive played.
currently playing X3 now, buggy as hell but i love the freeform gameplay.
No, that's just me.Originally Posted by BloodredProject2402

***SPOILERS***
I warriored my way through the Oblivion gate and basically single handedly shut it down. Then, again pretty much by my lonesome, I retake the entrance to the city.
When I reach the cathedral and bring the Captain of the guard in, he asked me to help him retake the city and rescue the count. I was cool with it but I told him to wait because I had to offload some treasure and resupply at my house in Imperial City.
Having steeled myself for what lay ahead I returned to the cathedral to begin the battle for Kvatch! Ooooh-ra!
But when I stepped into the ruins of the old church, I was greeted by a strange sight. There, standing before me impaitient to begin the mission, stood the captain of the guard, just as I had left him, except while I decided that magical armor and enchanted weapons were the way to go for this particular skirmish, he thought otherwise because he had not only removed his armor, but his pants as well...
I watched him fight valiently (if you can call me running ahead and killing things and then letting him catch up fighting valiently...) through the entire battle into the castle and to the corpse of the count without gicing a damn to the safety of his own testicles.
God bless you Savlian Matius! You are a hero to us all!

HAHAHA excellent, of course i used him to my advantage, as he couldnt die i just let him fling a head, i sat back and enjoyed the view, giving a few words of encouragment now and then
I knew that, but I did the opposite. I tried to suspend disbelief and try to forget I was playing a game so I did my damndest to keep him alive most of the time.Originally Posted by Flip
That's why when I was stuck in between the gates, instead of opening them and running, I spent some time hacking at the demons through the bars and killed like half of them before getting frustrated.
I tend to be more of the "Leave no man behind" type.
Uh, was this with or without pants dude?Originally Posted by Flip
