if you liked morrowind you will definately like this, it follows the same basics as morrowind obviously, the story is fantastic and the sheer size of the enviroment is amazing to say the least. Loads to do aswell, ive managed to do the mage quests to get access to the arcane university (only place to get enchant items and create spells) and i became the arena grand champion also (you get to choose a nickname and throughout the game people will mention seeing you fight and refer to you by your arena name :P)

this is a tremendous game, hours and hours of play time, just like morrowind.

Note of caution, if you get the pc version make sure you have a decent spec, mine is fine apart from the graphics card so i have had to turn alot of settings down and i still ocassionally get stutters, mainly in grassy areas, but its still very playable. I did run it with full effects just to admire the view... stunning

i hear the only real difference between the 360 version and the pc version is the short loading times take a little longer.

all thumbs up from me though, and now i shall venture back into Tamriel be seeing you :P

Fuckity fuck fuck fuck. I spent 2 days downloading this game only to realize that my MONSTER workstation has a piddly little graphics card. So now I have to wait for the middle of the week to get my new card. And by then my spring break will be almost over.....grrrr

Unlucky rock, which card you looking to get? i definately recommend a highend one (obviously) i only managed to scrape together enough for one of the fairly low end models supported by the the game a good card just not strong enough to give the good detail at a decent framerate.

I fucking LOVE this game, it's awesome.

finishing off all the side stories (god knows how long that will take)

I'm pissed that you can't taunt people into fighting you like you could in Morrowind though.

i had finished the mages guild and assassins guild before finishing the main storyline.

assassins guild is pretty cool, and once you become top rank in any guild you can get members to follow you around and help ya out

hehe, yeah, ive suffered that many a time, gets worse when you become a higher level mage, one of my most used spells serves splash damage aswell, paralysis and shock. the amount of times ive had to restart the mission because the guy i was escorting ran into the splash area for the fun of it i cant remember

I was in "Crumbling Mine" outside Chorrol and I shot a bitch full of arrows while she was in front of a door that hadn't been opened yet. I looped around another path and opened the door from the other side. It pushed her into the wall and her body started going APE SHIT. It looked like all her bones just started a revolution but the skin wouldn't let them leave. Her head was bouncing around but was constrained by the neck so it looked like one of those rubber balls attached to a paddle. Her arms and legs were doing the same thing, all in crazy directions.

If you want to go looking for it, it's in the Southeast portion. On your map where it says "blackwood" the fort is at the tip of the "L" where it swirls.
