What conventions, conferences, tradeshows, major parties, and similar events do people here like to attend?

Going to Convergence XII in New Orleans in april..i try to go every year depending...I know Kellie will be there..hope she stops by and says hello *wave*

i like transworld as well (haunted house props show and what not)
DragonCon i havent been too..but theres always this year

I'm not huge for conferences and whatnot. I think the last one I went to was when Convergence was here in Seattle. I think I'd like to get to one or so of the Horror writer conventions or something but usually I don't have the money to do it.

I go to Dragoncon every year, and sometimes Megacon. Im hoping for Comiccon this year.
Im going to a few music festivals too, Convergence 12, Dark-city, and um...one more I forgot the name of.

I'm about to model for Isabella Corsets at the Lingerie convention coming up here soon And I've been to Magic twice for Heavy Red..
What I really want to do is go to Comic Con in San Diego, tho...
Why won't anyone pay me $150 a day and give me free stuff to go to that?

i was supposed to go to Magic last year when i opened up a clothing store based on the industrial crowd..but then the guy who funded it said i was stealing profits (bull!) shut it down..oh well..maybe ill fund one myself ~_~

every now and again i'll go to a tattoo covention if it's local, but that's about it. i haven't ever been to any huge conventions/ conferences, and i dunno if i'd want to, too much traveling involved.

i just go to alot of highland games.....gotta love the hot guys in kilts....and did i mention the ridiculous amount of drinking!!!

I'd love to check out highland games. My maternal grandfather is scottish too. Don't like the clan colors tho

Guys in kilts, I met some of them at the Depeche Mode concert Madison Square Garden 12/9/05 and I hear those kilt guys will be going to Jones Beach DM concert 5/13/06. I will be there too. These guys in kilts have gone to many DM concerts here and in Europe. I guess they can afford to.

They count if we say they do I like cat shows although the cats are too independent to mind the rules.
