So I'm tossing around ideas for going to school again and right at the moment it's a toss up between Crime Scene Investigarot/ Forensic Anthropology (that'd be the butcher part) and a Pastry Chef. What do you thing?

I think a toss up between crime scene investigation and forensic anthropology. Personally I'd lean towards the latter it is some cool stuff.
But then again getting paid to make tasty treats is a fabulous thing too. If you do become a pastry chef will you make me pie?
you might want to remember that pastry chefs have to get up VERY early in the morning. (or so i'm told, not being interested in checking for myself!)
i always loved the idea of forensic anthropology myself - but then i'm into that anthropology stuff anyway. i reckon it's fascinating.
i have heard if you do CSI, you need nerves of steel. most of them burn out due to the evil shit they see, apparently.
tough choice, everyone dies and everyone eats of course as a pastry chef everyones always happy to see you
Lol, good point, Mr. Karl
mmmm ... danish pasties ....
my mom used to teach Forensics classes..my aunt used to teach pastry classes..i think i should just adopt you and youll get it all..and for free!
Allways when I see fire truck I have such big wish to be one of firefighters. But I allways forget it. I remembered now and I'll check for courses wright now.
As for your question I'll go with the first choice. More dinamic.
Right now i'm leaning way more twords pastries. They smell better. and yes, bakers keep odd hrs. usually around four something am, being done by nine and going to bed after breakfast with nice long dinners around ten pm. Sounds like hte life to me.

whatever you do make sure the paycheck is good and you like what you are doing...
holy shit..not to hijack the thread..where ya been marcus? lol
yeah, no kidding, haven't seen ya in a while marcus!
hmmm, CSI/ forensics sounds really interesting (thought about doing it myself for a while), but pastry chef sounds cool too. i say do what ya feel more. *shrugs*
hell, i never thought about it that way ... who says you have to wake up early? just stay out, cook a bit, head home. what could be wrong with that?Originally Posted by keiko

*ahem* sorry. heh kinda flipped out there... haha...
but yeah i almost got a job at a bakery... but it was rotating shifts, and there was no way i was willing to hang out in new westminster (horrible area... drugs... nastyness) from 1 am when the skytrain ends till 3-4 am when my shift starts :S nope. not for me. id rather walk to work...
mmmch: ever thought of taking up full contact cooking?
actually after my 2 baking courses i plan on taking culinary arts and asian culinary arts

Definitely Forensic Science Keiko. I can see you being the new Dayle Hinman, and you are in Florida You'd just be a lot sassier!
50s: everyone wanted to be an engineer. 60s, astronaut. 70s, pimp. 80s, Cop Working In Miami. 90s, drug dealer. 'aught-six, and it's Murder Investigators.
anyday now it'll swing around to disgruntled shut-in, and i'll be RICH.
Okay, so my idea of an Iron Chef style contest between Keiko and mmmcherry have the beginnings of coming to fruition. Damn, I need more inventive fantasies if this keeps up.
I'd go with forensic anthropology as well, even though I know it's nothing like it's portrayed on the TV show 'Bones'. But, then again, pastries.
naked iron chef? SWEET!!
heh yeah... forensic stuff would totally be awesome... i would have tons of fun doing it too... but bill is right, then again... pastries!!
