Holy crap nuggets. Atleast someone agrees with me. I was born and raised here. Me and my fiance have been together for 4 years. He thinks this place is better than sliced bread. Then again he's from NC so it might be a quite bit better than NC. In my personal opinion, this place is too over runned. Too many Senior Citizens and Tourists. Yes Florida is mainly for Tourism but i'm just sick of the place.
Anyways, enough rambling. Nice to meet a fellow Floridian.

I have resided in both North and South carolina, and they suck like florida also. Especially since those places are trying to be florida. myrtle beach is the perfect example. If you drive along the road on the beach, it is almost indistinguishable from miami beach.

My sister went to Daytona Beach w/ a bunch of friends and said it rocked. My partner grew up in Miami, partied through his teenage years, and says it was awesome. I went to Myrtle Beach and had tons of fun and a wicked tan. I can't wait to go to Miami (and the surrounding area) in December. I grew up in upstate NY a minority and hated it so much, I moved out at 17. But despite that, I'm sure there are people who absolutely love it up there, and I'm definitely not going to say the whole state of NY sucks. It all depends on who you are, and where you are.

I once went camping in upstate NY. We drank in every bar in that town. Then one of my friends, arguably not the least drunk one, drove back to the campsite. During the drive, another friend, almost certainly the drunkest, and I made the big doors on either side of the car flap. Later, while I was sacked out in the back seat of the car, the drunkest guy tried to drive us out on the town again. Fortunately he drove into a tree. Thank goodness. Someone could have been hurt. There is truly a deity who watches over children, drunks, and fools. Us fitting all of the above categories that night.
