I was just reading an interesting little newsbit on Wired and they have some really interesting pictures of recent crop circle designs.

Crop circles make for amazing visuals if nothing else. I remember some rock formations in Northern Cali that also defied any obvious explanation. Was there any attempt at a scientific explanation in the article?
OEC
wow, they are getting fancier and fancier...
well, i know that some of them are hoaxed, others might not be...
the main difference supposedly is that in the hoaxed ones the wheat stems are crushed/snapped, and in the supposedly not hoaxed ones they are 'bent, showing signs of abnormal cell structures, etc. blah...
interesting subject.
I think honestly if aliens wanted to do more than "tag" the planet, they'd do it by now and they got madder skills at it than I do
theyre all fake, its been explained and shown how its done, its extremly simple
haha yeah theyre really really gorgeous, but i saw on tv how it was done... all you need is a rope and a board...
and to sneak into some wheat farmers feild and really piss him off hahaa!
I saw that show too.
really cool show hey
lets go make some feild art!!!
For the amount of time it takes to make these, I have always been baffled as to why people would be making crop circles in their spare time. To each his own. I know many people just want to prove that they can be recreated. Anything can be recreated at this point in the Paranormal realm, so they aren't really proving much to me. There is some scientific proof that all of these crop circles are not man made, who made them is still remains a mystery. This article talks about some made in Russia in 1999, where there seemed to be no intrusion from outside sources, no stalks were broken to get to the circle. So, how did this, even as small as a two person team get there to make this? You always have to add to the equation that people do bullshit, even scientists. It's all a matter of what you choose to believe ultimately.

If its not a pretty picture on a canvas its a pretty picture in a big field.
Apparently, we see art as something different.Originally Posted by GnArKiLL

now that we have photoshop, i find it's much harder to believe anything i don't see with my own two beady little eyes. i saw my boyfriend make both of my boobs as big as my head with photoshop, and we all know that is just the product of what one might call "wishful thinking"!
He has you and he STILL wants more boob Guys are crazy.Originally Posted by Sara X
Ive made crop circles before, its really that hard, though i have no idea how the figure out and make designs that elaborate without haveing some kind of crane to get an overead veiw of what they are doing.
well... in that show that me and voltaire saw (assuming it was the same show even) they told how the guys went in and did the whole thing in one night with no trace of how they got in there, they walked in thru the tractor wheel rows, or sprinkler rows or whatever those little spaces are in the field... and they plan it out big time before, and they use a stake in the ground and a rope to get the right size circles and everything, all these huge measurements to make it right... there was so much math behind the actual crop circle these guys were making it was insane haha... ill try to find the picture of the one they were makng, its my favorite one
