Blondie (not the band, although I adore them)

I've never been a blonde before. In fact, when I was younger I picked on my dear blonde friends and called them all blondie sue.

But today, I am turning myself into that nickname. My friend is coming over and I am going blonde.

Haha, and for some reason I am scared.

Haha, hope it turns out great. I've been blonde, but only for a few minutes, as bleaching is required before doing bold colours.

ahhhh. well, the blonde did NOT work out. heh well the roots are blonde but . . . . eh . . . . its a disaster.

my friend who did it explained it all to me, the multiple reasons why it didnt work but I do not remember them all. So I am going to cover up the mess on my head with a really really red color. but i will have pics later.

i really kinda wanted to be blonde.

for one day, i was sort of a blonde though *shrugs*

By any chance was one reason because your hair was already dyed?
That happens to me all the time. =/ The natural hair [roots] is a lot easier to manipulate. I'm sure it don't look that bad.

yeah if your hair was aleready colored or you have really dark hair you will probably have to have it stripped and then colored to make it more blondish.

Heh yes.

It had already been dyed some light brown color & then i dyed it black.
Plus she said something about me being on my period might have some affect on it.

She told me it would have been best to get a color stripper BUT, she wasnt there when I was buying the stuff to do it . . . so yerp, we just bleached it. But its okay now . . . . I went the red color I used ot have, that I love.

I'm just scared of getting in trouble . . . . ah I hate being in HS.

it sounds so bad that in one day I've had three hair colors O.O
but the red is semipermanant (wow, i know I messed that word up) and it has no peroxide or something so my friend told me it would be okay to put in my hair.

I got off the bus this morning & there was my principal and vice principal. they let me walk past but not five minutes later, my vice principal came and got me & now here I am.

I have washed my head til my scalp is soar & I am putting ANOTHER semi permanant blonde color in hopes to cover the pink I still have in my hair.

But yeah, my hair is gonna be a disaster when I am done. ekkk

Yes. I was sent home for the red color.
I had it last year and no one said anything, but . . . . I dont know what crawled up my principals ass & died . . . . this year I was sent home . . .

This has happened to me before, when my hair was a little pink.

But anyway, this is how it is now and will be for awhile.




I think I'm gonna try the blonde thing again later. But yeah, next time I think I'm gonna be a little more educated on what I am doing haha.

i found out the hard way that it's probably because there isn't enough heat to process the bleach... if you use aluminum foil strips (you can buy little sheets of it in bulk at a beauty supply store) it will help the bleach out a lot. you put a strip under about a 1 inch section of hair, use a brush to slather it with bleach, pick up another strand of hair over top of that, put aluminum foil under it, slather it with bleach, press it down on top of the first foil, and so on. i could NOT get rid of the pink in my hair from dyeing it purple & my hair had been bleached a bunch to color it in the first place, then i used a color stripper THEN bleached it like 4 times before finally going to a salon and finding out what i did wrong. sigh.

man, that sucks that the sent you home and made you take the red out. it looked killer. speaking of killer, how dead is your hair after all this?if its so fried after all this that it breaks and/or fallws out, i wonder if you could sue them?:P

i bet my old high school has regulations about dyed hair by now. didnt when i went there luckily.
