What's been keeping me up all night lately?

The pain from the infection I have from my "life-saving" operation! (I say "Life-Saving" because if I hadn't had it done, my wife would have killed me!)
I have Anti-Biotics for it, but that doesn't take away the pain, and I prefer not to take painkillers unless it really hurts, so I might take some tonight. (My wife knows that if I ask for painkillers, then it must really be hurting)
It feels as if I have just been kicked in the Happy Sack, and the pain isn't subsiding, like it's meant to.

Sorry to hear that, but I can sympathised with you,
190%... the orchiectomy was an eight inch incision that
had to be left open to heal from inside out... so I very
well know of what you are going through...and more.

I've always been the kind of person who gets wired at night.
And if I do get sleep at night, it's the tossing, turning not really sleeping kind of sleep that I wake up from in a cold sweat. :/
So I prefer to sleep during the day when I don't have nightmares and get great sleep.
Thank goodness for black out curtains. =D

I'm supposed to be awake and at the gym in a bit over an hour and I went to bed early (for me) totally exhausted, yet I've been tossing and turning for hours now and I'm pretty likely to have a wretched time getting up if I go back to sleep now and a terrible workout if I don't.

work... it's 1:15 am here right now and i only got home a little while ago... it's almost time for me to get up at 7am or so and do it agin for 15 or more hours. nothing will keep me up much longer let me tell you. i guess you could say that this forum keeps me up longer than i should be!! i need drugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzz zzzz z
