goddamnit! the bartender that works tonight just plain fucking sucks; she's nice but she takes forever to make drinks , and can't even be bothered to run her own goddamn food, which means guess who gets to do it? yup, you guessed it, me. and when I have to wait five minutes for her to just pour me a fucking beer, who's money does it hurt? mine. customers don't understand that waiting for beer/drinks is not my fault... and to top it all off, she leaves the bar a mess.....

Inefficiency behind the counter irks me as well, both in bars and coffee houses. There should be a sort of zen action without thought movement that one should strive for and some people just don't get it. Watching people do everything in the wrong order makes my skin crawl sometimes, which is probably a little too ocd, but there you have it.

On a related note, the thing I'd like to rant a little about is bartenders that charge me for six drinks when I know I've only had five. There is really no good way things can go after that. I usually tip really well, so it tends to go the other way with bartenders I know, but new places just sometimes get off on the wrong foot and it's very hard to get things back towards a good relationship after they do that garbage.

On the topic of bartending im pissed that when I was in NOLA last year, the girl charged me 5 bucks for a screwdriver..then 10 minutes later when i went to get another one from the SAME person, she told me it was 7...then I asked why the price difference in the last 10 minutes she argued with me that it was always 7. BULLSHIT..because as I turned around she charged another dude 6 for the SAME DRINK! What the fuck! You would think she worked at fucking Wall Street.

Right after I began to have plumbing problems and I never had them that bad before. Then we got news that the old manager died, it was sad since he was our friend and he was supposed to return for the rest of his stuff (which is a lot of stuff), we were hoping that getting some time out of LA would refresh him & we could be friends again. Still, plumbing problems so bad I have permanent water damage. Well in discussions with other tenants I found out that they had caught the old manager sabotaging things in their places, unscrewing the screws in the faucets & I also found out that the upstairs tenants had their toilet seal replaced when there was nothing wrong with their toilet, why it leaked so badly all over my apartment on 5 different occasions. So I put two & two together. I wrote a letter to the owner & he started doing some repairs & then he stopped. I went for months without electricity in my bathroom, his repair guys destroyed my bathroom and spilled paint everywhere & my place stinks. It is embarassing & I hate having people over. The owner is an asshole & won't fix the things I have asked but I feel so unhygenic knowing that my rugs and walls are soaked with sewage water. I cannot wait to leave!!!! Oh & dead exmanager's stuff has now been in the care of me & the Mr since we were friends with him. We want to be fair since he does have a daughter who might want some of the stuff but it is just annoying since we keep finding our personal belongings in all of it which just keeps reminding us how our "friend" was dicking us over!

I was so fucking slammed I had a pile of 23 checks and cards I needed to run, my bar was full and I had drinks waiting for the entire restuarant and i'm running out of booze left and right, and my manager comes up to me and sets down a $20 a $10 and two $5s and hands me this check and says, he wants to pay for his miso with the ten and his sald with the five and on and on....ARE you FUCKING serious?????!!!! DO I look like a cash machine? go to the fucking bank if you want specific change... It was so stupid, so then im running all of these checks and the waitresses are all asking ,do you have this check or that check blah blah blah, and it takes me just as long to verify that the check is in my pile of 8 gazillion other check as it wouldve taken for me to run all the god dammed checks in the first place...And then, one of the servers trys to grab one of the hanging glasses from the backside of the counter and it falls and breaks into my ice....jesus christ.....

Plus tomorrow I am throwing a baby shower at my house for someone who I can NOT stand and she posted my address on ******* in a bulletin...fucking moron
she already invites 57 people...and I ammmmm sooo broke...I agreed to this months and months ago and now I regret it...

True. We could spend hours on the overall sexual dynamics of dominance and submission. I would make no pretense to egalitarianism either. Actually I have more haha: I'm in what amounts to a triplex until June. This entire fucking winter, workers have had to come through my place to get to the damn boilerroom. Everyone else in this house, except me, froze all winter. God, what a fucked up place. It's a nice house even. Anyways, the furnace was so fucked-up that one set of workers bitched about the kicked down door. I said nothing. 2 sets later it was fixed without a word. Karma is sweet. sorry i have another rant... bus drivers that just sit on their asses when you need help on the bus with the stroller. THIS is why im getting my drivers liscence right here... few months ago i had a drs appointment and i had to take 2 busses to get to it... i needed an exam so instead of taking lyndon in the snuggly carrier thingy (like a backpack on the front for ze bebe... very cozy ) i had to take the stroller... well i got a bus with the steps, and the driver just sat there watching me trying to get the stroller on the bus, and gave me some lame excuse about how the switch that lowers the bus was broken... i dont need the bus lowered, that wouldnt make a difference. finally a passenger helped me get on the bus... and all was good until i got to the skytrain station... tryin to get the stroller off the bus, and there was maybe 10-15 people standing around just watching me... finally a woman i was sitting across from on the bus helped me get the stroller off, and this is what gets me... there were all these people just standing around, and this woman was BLIND... had a white cane and everything... she helped me off the bus. how sad is that. i swear i could have smacked that fuckin bus driver, but then that would have made me late for my drs appointment.
need a machine like in "click" to stop time, beat the hell out of someone, then restart it again without them having a clue what just happened... seriously... wheres the nearest bed bath and beyond??

I have no evidence that he locked her in deliberately. It did follow a pattern of negligence on the part of the first set of maintenance workers (I'm speaking from a moral not legal standpoint). My front door was regularly left open. Not only am I extremely protective of my cats, I am under contractual agreement to keep them indoors. It was a bad situation. I made them leave when I was present by walking around naked haha. Still, I would return home from school to find doors open; my cats wandering around the boilerroom with parts of the furnaces loose (and with access to a level of the house in between floors they may get stuck in). It caused undue stress. Obviously, I won't really injure the guy. I don't even know specifically who he is. Still, it royally pisses me off that people can be so irresponsible. I have no intention of taking further action. Kicking down that fucking door was good enough.

I've had the back of my heels smacked into by inconsiderated people who are to busy yapping and not paying attention to where they are going. I can't stand when parents don't have thier kids under control its just plain ignorant on thier part. And yes I have two children of my own and if they misbehaved in the store I would drop whatever I had and drag them out the store, or leave them at home so there wasn't an issue.

ahhh yeah im always careful with the stroller... the only person ive run over so far is my jamie hahaa... and a toe or two on the bus when there just WASNT room, but i felt really bad about that heh...
and yeah kids running wild... mah god. alot of the east indian families where i live dont pay attention to their kids.. my mom works at a canadian tire store, and one kid got into a little sample can of BRIGHT RED paint. HOUSE PAINT remember... well.. it ended up everywhere, all over the floors, and the shelves, and the kid decided to paint some boxes... there was sets of floodlights with big flat lightbulbs... you know hte ones... anyways, thank GOD there was a plastic protective covering on that little window in the box... cause every last one of the windows was painted in red. my mom figured it would have taken the kid at least an hour to do all of this, and their parents dont even WONDER where their kid is.
seriously, i turn away from my kid for 3 seconds to grab a box of cereal off the shelf at the grocery store and im fucking paranoid hes gonna get kidnapped, their kids are running around unsupervised for their whole shopping trip.

and heres what scares the hell out of me... they dont buckle their kids seatbelts in the car... i regularly see kids, 4, 5 years old, STANDING in the back seat of a car. oh, and one car, there was a carseat in the back, in the middle, all buckled in like it should be, but the guy in the back seat was holding the baby. UMMMM NOOOO!!!!!

i really have nothing against indian families, but sometimes they scare me when they do stuff like that, and when they drive omg... ive heard stories from friends of a cop at this one party i went to, he pulled over this one indian woman driving, and she whipped out her husbands liscence and said "no this is a family liscence" omahgod. it makes me really wonder about the way people issue drivers liscences. you need to learn enough english to read and understand the street signs, but they get away with not knowing a word of it... arrrhgg... im gonna stop before this ruins my whole day... fuckin hell haha...

yeah I can not stand when people don't watch their kids, and like when I see a little 2 year old running around a store alone I can just ignore it...and whenever I finally find their moms they act all pissy like I tried to steal their kid or something. A couple weeks ago I was at a Clothing store and there was this little girl probably about 12-18 months, still really wobbly on her feet and she was waaaaay in the back of the store and there was no one around and I just kind of watched her for a couple minutes and then I picked her up and when to the front of the store. And Im walking around asking "is this yours?" and 5 minutes later this lady looks over (she was standing in line) and comes over and grabs her and gives me a nasty look...what the fuck????? THEN , oooohhhooohoho THen she sets her back down and little girl wanders way off again instantly! and she doesn't even pay attention...I was so pissed and so was everyone else in the store.
