I have no experience in Intellectual Property/Cyberspace Law. I doubt I have a solid legal claim though. This is a gig that really never got off the ground. We did have it in .org form as a blog. There is obviously a copyright on the banner and artwork. I tried to negotiate through godaddy. The guy sends me an email with the list of some company saying he only dealt with them and to remit $2800. I offered market value (the standard practice for the broker, it was about $150) He just said no deal, goodbye haha. That particular domain isn't one I need right now, I was helping someone else. Still, I just checked a bunch of obscure names (including antemortem) and all were taken, unused, and appeared to have been so for years. I did find contact info on those though. I would try ICANN if it were a domain I absolutely had to have
Thanks for the info

Good luck with getting a decent clothing domain. This is really out of control. I don't think a law could be implemented that work in this area without fucking the rest of us somehow, unfortunately (global etc). I just know its a lot worse than say '05 even.
