POSTED: 3:38 pm CDT May 26, 2007
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- A teenager arrested after police found his pictures of potted marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia posted on a *******.com Web page will serve 30 days in jail.
Moua Yang, 18, pleaded no contest Friday in Sheboygan County Circuit Court to felony marijuana manufacturing and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police monitoring for gang activity traced the information to the Sheboygan teenager from the popular networking Web site.
A criminal complaint said authorities then found three potted marijuana plants in a basement closet at Yang's residence.
Police said they were monitoring another Web site when they saw that Yang had posted pictures of weapons and drug gear and had bragged about the plants in his house.
Yang was also placed on four years probation and had his driver's license suspended for six months. He also has to pay a fine of more than $200 and undergo counseling.
