fire works r no joke

MELVINDALE, MICHIGAN (AP) -- A 27-year-old Lincoln Park woman has died after a commercial-grade firework exploded in her face. Melvindale police say Danialle Barse wasn't familiar with the firework she was using last night in the parking lot of the car wash where she worked.

Police say Barse's children and her fiance looked on as the three-inch mortar bomb exploded. A witness tried to help her but he says he was too late.

Some fireworks confiscated at scene were purchased in Ohio, but ATF agents are determining where the commercial-grade fireworks came from.

No one at the car wash had permission to conduct a fireworks display.

i always wanted to build my own fireworks and crackers....
never got around to do it though, i was to afraid of being maimed by a freak explosion..

well atleast the woman tried to live out her dream......... too bad she died though

ya had too be hard for the kids to see that , tramatized for a long time i think,couldnt belive it when it was on he local news here . but the stations here cover the area of bout 60 miles i guess ..but those mortars r no joke ..
