Here in the States, I remember coming back from Rocky Horror and taking an off ramp, off of Interstate 5 that had a "35 mph reduce to" sign. The driver went 85 on it and it felt like we were going 20, what a wonderful floating sensation that was. It gave me some appreciation of sports cars.

I wouldnt exactly being driving like that on an off-ramp, but I do know the feeling you describe. I like when you have a long stretch of rather deserted highway, and you can let the car go for a little bit. Its rare to get such an occurence.

It was high school, so you know how that can be. I was a daredevil for stuff like that. Don't tell my parents, it still freaks them out when I tell them little stories like that.
